 More of our Favourite Toys

The dogs are still enjoying the toys from West Paw Design. Much to our surprise they are still holding up to the wear and tear here at the daycare. Even the Zisc (frisbee) is still going strong.

We’re Hiring!

April 29, 2008

We are looking to hire an experienced dog groomer. We have part-time hours available to start (15-25 hrs) but as the business grows, we hope to be able to offer full-time hours. The wage is $12 per hour. If you, or anyone you know, is interested, please e-mail any questions or a resume to info@paws-on-the-run.ca or fax it to 394-7781. Please no phone calls or drop in visits to discuss the position as we never know when we are going to have 5 minutes to chat! E-mail is much easier for us, because we can respond when we have a moment.

Mine! All Mine!

 Mine! All Mine!

Dozer was very proud of his Kong today. And he should be. He had to race other dogs to get to it first! Once he had it, he hid under the chair so no one could steal it.

If you think Ruby is cute now…

 Puppy Picture

…you should have seen her as a young pup! Ruby’s mom sent this to me the other day and I just had to share.

 Where there is one...

Chevy and Rico are rarely more than a few feet from one another. They play together, they play with other dogs together and they rest together. Despite being practically joined at the hip, they are very different from each other. Rico is the out-going, confident one Where there is one... and Chevy is much more shy and reserved. Where there is one...Their cutest trick is slowly gathering up all the toys and putting them on a chair. They then sit on their “nest” and protect them from any silly dogs that think that toys are for playing with, not for hoarding!

Braving the Elements

 Braving the Elements

Amanda couldn’t stand it any longer and had to go outside with the dogs – camera in hand of course. There is a big snow drift that the dogs decided had to have some sort of buried treasure in so they looked, and looked, and looked.

Slushy Snow

 Slushy Snow

The dogs are having a great time running through the snow. We, on the other hand, are not having a great time standing out there in the cold (I know a bit pathetic but I’m sick, so I deserve a break) so we have no good pictures today. The dogs have to sit perfectly still for a picture to turn out. This is the best I got…I hope it satisfies you!
