Can my children or I be included in the photos?
Absolutely!  The focus of the photo session will be on your pet but capturing the relationship you have as a family is encouraged

Does my dog need to be well trained?
NOT AT ALL.  The point is to capture your dog doing what they do naturally. I do like to try and get some “pretty” pictures but we can save that for the end when they are more tired and we can even use a leash (that I’ll edit out after) to keep them in position if we need to.

What if my dog is afraid of strangers?
I have a pretty shy dog myself and I’ve met more than a few others in my life so I know what it can be like.  I’ll arrive with a boatload of yummy treats, toys and a few tricks up my sleeve to help your pet overcome their shyness.

Will you photograph more than one dog?
Of course!  I’ll try and split the session evenly between the two pets and if you have more than two, you might want to consider the larger package size to ensure you get enough variety of each dog.

Do you photograph cats?
I do, but I’ll be honest.  Indoor photography is not my forte – I don’t have all the equipment necessary to get a large variety of photos indoors.  If you would like to have your cat photographed, please contact me and we can discuss your options.

I get the digital files?!  What can I do with those?
Yes you will receive 12 or 30 digital files (depending on the session you purchased) that you are free to do (almost) anything you want with. You can post them on Facebook, you can get prints made for the grandparents for Christmas, you can create an album, etc.  What you can’t do is use the images for profit. So for example, you can’t use them in a photo contest or sell them to a third party.  The copyright of every image belongs to the photographer, not the person in the photo, or in this case, the owner of the dog in the image. (This applies to ALL photos including professional ones and even the ones you take with your phone.)  If you have any questions or concerns about this, please don’t hesitate to contact me and we can talk about it.

I still have more questions!
