Puppy Prep

The goal of this class is to teach you how to teach your puppy. The class will be covering all of the basic obedience skills as well as real life issues and problems. We will also talk about how to raise a well-rounded puppy and include issues such as socialization, rewards, attention span, keeping it simple and consistency.

The puppies should be old enough to have received their second set of vaccines (usually around 12 weeks old) and no older than 6 months.  If you have a small dog that is just over 6 months and you feel he/she may be more comfortable in a room full of puppies, please contact us and we can discuss which class is the most appropriate for you.

The Puppy Prep sessions are on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:15 p.m.  The classes run for 7 weeks and cost $150.  Contact us to sign up for the next available class. We will require a non-refundable, non-transferable $25 deposit to secure a spot in this class. We do not keep a waiting list, however those who have registered for future classes will automatically be given the opportunity to register for a more recent class, should openings become available.

Our upcoming classes will be starting on June 19.

If you’d like to sign up for the class, please email us with your dog’s name, age and breed as well as a phone number and email address we can reach you at.  We will respond with details on how you can make a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit to secure your spot.

Note: Due to the popularity of our training classes, all our classes are non-transferable and non-refundable if you have attended at least one training session. We also occasionally need to reschedule sessions (usually due to unforeseen circumstances like illness, or bad winter weather) so the class may take longer than 7 consecutive weeks to be completed.
